Summary: Subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of the first charge if no credits have been used. One-time credit packs are non-refundable. For billing errors, we always make it right — contact us within 30 days.

1. Subscription Refunds

1.1 New Subscriptions — 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

If you subscribe to a paid plan for the first time and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of the initial charge, provided that fewer than 500 credits have been consumed during that period.

Eligible for full refund: First-time subscription & refund requested within 7 days & fewer than 500 credits used.

1.2 Recurring Renewals

After the 7-day window, monthly and annual subscription renewals are non-refundable. We recommend cancelling your subscription before the next renewal date to avoid future charges. You will retain access to your plan features until the end of the current billing period.

1.3 Annual Plan Early Cancellation

Annual subscriptions cancelled after the 7-day window are not eligible for a prorated refund for the remaining months. Access continues until the end of the annual period.

1.4 Plan Downgrades

Downgrading to a lower plan takes effect at the end of your current billing period. The difference in plan price is not refunded.

2. Credit Pack Refunds

One-time credit pack purchases are non-refundable once the transaction is completed. Credits do not expire and remain in your account until used.

Note: Please review the credit pack amounts carefully before purchasing. If you accidentally purchased the wrong pack, contact us within 24 hours and we will evaluate your case on a discretionary basis, provided no credits have been used.

3. Billing Errors

If you were charged an incorrect amount, charged after cancellation, or charged for a plan you did not select, this constitutes a billing error and you are entitled to a full refund.

Examples of billing errors:

Billing errors must be reported within 30 days of the erroneous charge. Contact [email protected] with your account email and a description of the issue.

4. Duplicate Charges

If you were charged more than once for the same transaction due to a technical error, we will refund all duplicate charges promptly upon verification. Please include your payment confirmation emails or transaction IDs when contacting us.

5. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Most issues can be resolved directly and quickly.

If a chargeback is filed while a refund request is under review, we may be required to suspend the associated account pending resolution. Accounts found to have made fraudulent chargeback claims may be permanently terminated.

6. How to Cancel Your Subscription

To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription before your next renewal date. Cancellation is immediate and self-service:

  1. Log in to your TTScriber account
  2. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Subscription
  3. Click "Cancel Plan"
  4. Confirm cancellation in the dialog

After cancellation, you will continue to have full access to your plan features until the end of the current billing period. Your account will then revert to the free tier; your data and generated files are not deleted.

Reminder: Cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before your renewal date to ensure the next charge does not process. TTScriber is not responsible for charges incurred due to late cancellation.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund under an eligible scenario, please email us at [email protected] with the following information:

  1. Your account email address
  2. The date and amount of the charge
  3. The reason for your refund request
  4. Any supporting documentation (e.g., payment receipt, screenshot of error)

We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and aim to resolve all refund requests within 5 business days.

8. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method:

Refunds are issued in the original currency and payment method. We are not responsible for currency conversion differences or fees charged by your bank.

9. Regional Consumer Rights

European Union / United Kingdom

If you are located in the EU or UK, you may have the right to withdraw from a subscription contract within 14 days of purchase under applicable consumer protection law (EU Directive 2011/83/EU / UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), provided the service has not yet been performed.

By starting to use TTScriber's services immediately after purchase, you acknowledge and agree that the right of withdrawal is forfeited once the service performance has begun at your express request. If no credits have been consumed, we will honor a refund request within 14 days regardless.

Other Jurisdictions

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. Where local law provides additional protections, those protections apply.
